Barbara has been essential in guiding us through the difficulties of helping our aunt spend her last years at home. We live eight hours away and are unable to be present for moments as different as outings to a restaurant or rides home from a hospital stay. Barbaras like adding an expert to your family tree. Medicare brokers, handymen, estate lawyers, and caregivers, she knows them all. Her grace, knowledge, and compassion change everything.

My aunt had lived independently all of her life as a cardiac pediatrician and an involved community member. A year before she died, at age 94, and still engaged in life, she enlisted Barbara as her care coordinator. Barbara was professional, intuitive and very supportive. She found wonderful 24 hour caregivers when my aunt needed them. My aunt trusted and genuinely liked Barbara. I appreciated Barbara's keeping me in the loop and her encouragement to visit often. Her care, good humor and authenticity enriched all of our lives.

It is hard to express how much the staff at A Dignified Life have helped me and my family. From helping with a sudden move, to hospitalizations, to doctors appointments, to helping my mom attend family events to keeping us all sane - Adrienne has become part of the family. I don't know where we would be without her. She has taken a really tough situation and made it bearable. I will always be grateful for her attention to detail, being there day or night, and her great sense of humor.

We have been working with Barbara and words cannot suffice her praises. The level of care that she puts in to each client is close to none. I would highly recommend "A Dignified Life" to any family that has a loved one suffering with dementia.
