Terry Leahy was wonderful with my son. She helped him prepare for the Earth Science regents, as he felt under-confident in his ability to study and pass on his own. She was flexible with scheduling, met him where he was in terms of knowledge, taught him content as well as strategies on how to approach/take the exam. She brought many of her own materials, including her rock collection, to help him prep for the practical exam. We were lucky to have her and would absolutely recommend her as a tutor!

My daughter suffered a concussion and was out of school for four months. An earlier tutoring situation with a different company did not work out and our school switched us to LI Tutoring Services. Thomas Reeve was assigned as my daughters Algebra tutor and Susan Hovestadt was assigned to teach her Living Environment. These tutors had the very difficult challenge of helping my daughter understand what she had missed, and get caught up so that she could be ready to go back to in person instruction in school - all within an unfairly short timeframe. We cannot thank Mr Reeve and Mrs Hovestadt enough. Both tutors met my daughter where she was at academically and worked very closely with her to build her knowledge and confidence in these subjects. Not only did they help my daughter achieve 90+ grades for the quarter but just as importantly they made this an anxiety-free experience for her. She enjoyed working with them and finally felt like she made progress post injury. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

The Staff at Long Island Tutorial Services is absolutely AMAZING!!! From the care and detail that Diane and Dr Olsen have when matching my children to their tutors, to literally driving to my childrens school to get their work when the school didnt email it. I cant say enough about how much I love this entire team. I wish I had the option to have this entire staff teaching me when I was in school. Shaun S is above and beyond as a tutor. My son is on the spectrum and a very difficult case. He takes time to warm up to anyone. At the first meeting my son jumped into his arms and hugged him. He was able to bond and reach my son where so many others have failed. Wonderful teacher, we love him like he is family. Lisa B is so great with my daughter. I have never seen anyone so detailed oriented and on top of every aspect of my daughters curriculum. My daughter loves her. She is so kind and concerned about my entire family. Beyond flexible which is wonderful in a home with so many little kids Professor Anthony A is the real life mister wizard. He makes both of my sons love math and science. He takes time and care with each child. With him learning is fun and not a chore Michelle O is so caring and a wonderful teacher. She makes working with my son who has ADHD look easy. He loved the sessions he did with her and made his transition to middle school seamless. Christine O is so good with my son. She is able to take material that is difficult for him and explain it in a way he understands. She is a delight to work with. Aviva C is fantastic with my son. Countless times has my son been worried about a test or math he doesnt understand. By the time she is done with his session he truly understands the material. He leaves the session confident and encouraged. If you are thinking of using a tutor dont think twice. They are caring with the utmost professional tutors. AAAAAAA+++++

Diane P, my one-on-one aide in Aquebogue, is a dynamo! She is high energy, self- motivated, and goes above and beyond each day. She anticipates needs ahead of time and helps me daily to avoid issues.
