    Do NOT buy a house from this man. He sold my best friend and her husband a house with an attic that was previously infested with raccoons and covered it up with insulation just to sell. They have had to spend thousands trying to fix the damage and it has caused constant stress between them for months. They also now have to pay a mortgage for a house they cant even live in because of the amount of poop and multiple dead raccoons that was found. They have had to tear out the entire ceiling and multiple walls and re insulate the entire attic. She is also pregnant and has a 3 year old! Who in their right mind would do something so horrible? They have tried to contact him and been ignored. I repeat. Do. Not. Buy. From. Him. Hes a scammer and a horrible person.

    What a easy transaction. Everything went so smoothly. We received a really good price for our home. We didn't even have to rent a dumpster to dispose of any unwanted items. He made it so easy for us to move to our new forever home. On top of all that we needed a lawyer, the recommendation he made was top notch. That also was another smooth transaction. You will not be disappointed dealing with the Handsome Home Buyer!

    We purchased our home from Charles the Handsome homebuyer in 2021. It was a disaster. On the first night we moved in we gave the kids baths upstairs. When we drained the baths the entire house started to smell horrible like waste water. After going downstairs we saw brown water filling the downstairs and garage area. This was plumbing waste water which got all over our new carpets and warped and destroyed the hardwood filling with bacteria laden poop and urine filled water. We had to move out into a hotel while things were repaired. When they found the clog it was from broken tile, concrete and pieces of PVC that were placed down the drain. I called Charles and offered nothing to help. He had his (my) money and was not willing help my family. When we finally moved back in 4 months later major additional issues popped up. In the master bathroom the shower must not have been caulked or sealed properly by his crew because the water, in addition to going down the drain on the right side, would also go through the tile and into our closet on the left side causing a puddle and ruining our carpet in the master closet.Also the heat didn’t work in the downstairs. After adding freon and paying another $1200 replacing parts to the outdoor condenser unit it was determined that the compressor was faulty and the entire unit had to be replaced. This plus labor and new Freon costed $5,200. Anyone who ever tried to use a warranty for one of these can tell you how nearly impossible this is. Ask any HVAC guy.Another major issue is the rain gutters were all placed on without regard for the direction of water flow. The grade is steering the water away from the downspouts and not toward it. I didn’t realize this was such a big issue but the water has been backing up and pouring over the side of the gutters causing damage to the grass and landscaping and pooling against the foundation of the house which apparently is a very big deal. This is another area where Charles and his crew just didn’t care about the family moving in.Lastly, Charles and his crew placed new sod in the backyard. After a few month most of the patches turned brown and died. We had a landscaper come by and look and apparently charles and his crew covered up an old patio and concrete with an inch in some places less of soil before placing the sod. Rather than properly removing the concrete he just put more lipstick in an effort to maximize his profits with no regard for the future homebuyer moving in.You might say that the inspection should have caught these but the shower pooling into the closet took several showers to manifest. Same with the plumbing backup. The inspector ran and drained baths but the clog was downstream enough to pass inspection but not much more. The HVAC units weren’t installed until after my inspection. It is not customary for an inspector to dig holes in the backyard because who would be that conniving to conceal concrete with grass. I’ll tell you who.I might have accepted this if this were an old home or a fixer upper but Charles and his crew completely renovated this house. It looked beautiful, aesthetically but this was lipstick on a pig. It was marketed as a beautifully newly renovated home. The work was shoddy and unprofessionally done. There was not only crappy work but to go even further than that, active intentional concealing of issues by Charles and his team which goes beyond negligence.Yes, Charles would be ringing his hands smiling now saying “buyer beware” but in the end this home has caused us so much distress and financial hardship that I am compelled to warn future homebuyers and anyone who wants to do business with him.We saved for years to be able to afford this home for myself my wife and two small kids and for $760,000 we got a home that was really renovated very very poorly.Please homebuyers, banks, etc… please stay away.
