A Cleaner Image Webster NY

I signed a quote for $549 to have my air ducts and vents cleaned. When they arrived, they told me they had to cut holes in my spackled ceiling, and the total clean-up would end up being almost $2000. Would not recommend unless you want to get fleeced for extra work beyond the original quote. Bad business to quote a job and show up to say it will cost 4 times the quote to get it done. An extra couple hundred dollars once arriving and inspecting would have been acceptable, but nearly $1500 over the quote is unreasonable. I ultimately denied the work being done.

I purchased a home with quite a bit of mold in the basement and A Cleaner Image was recommended by the realtor. I paid them $4,500 for the work. They did an o.k. job, but if I wasn't home to inspect their work, it would have been a bigger problem. They missed a section of the basement entirely, and could have been much more thorough in another section which I pointed out to them, and then they fixed it but not with the best attitude. It took them another 3 weeks to return to do the part they missed and when they showed up they told me I needed to schedule to have the work completed. I insisted they complete the work that day since they were already paid in full and they did. The owner was great, but a worker dispatched to the job was not and it was very upsetting. April 3, 2024 I am adding to my review. See photos below of my basement now 2 years later. Some areas were sprayed so thin, the paint fell off the wall. The corner where the rust color is is where they were supposed to add hydraulic cement to prevent that from happening, and well there it is. The opposite corner I scrapped and repaired on my own using hydraulic cement because it was doing the same thing. 100% disappointed in their workmanship and a lot of money for a poor job. I definitely would be very careful using this company.
