We've had issues with nail pops and leaks on our roof since we bought this home a few years back. This past winter was especially rough on the roof and the hip of the roof was collapsing. Since we were able to save up some money to have this roof professionally repaired, we sought out different roofing contractors in the area. I learned about how bad the condition of the roof was and came to understand the extent of the damage. This was a huge repair job that required the whole hip of the roof to be replaced. I ended up going with Sutryk because I felt their prices were reasonable and I appreciated their professionalism and expertise. While other contractors didn't even bother to check the attic space, Graigory went up there to see what was going on for himself and quickly discovered a major problem with our roof, which was improper ventilation. It was the sheer heat of the attic, it was extremely overheated and was causing the roof to warp in different areas. He pointed out how we actually had more vents than we needed, however, the ventilation was flawed. He recommended ridge vents which are low profile and work very well. Also, the CertainTeed shingles they use are of excellent quality, guaranteed to last. Everyone from the carpenters and roofers to the cleanup crew worked hard to transform this roof into a thing of beauty. The quality of the work went beyond my expectations. They use high-quality materials and the carpenters are incredibly skilled. I have plans to work with Sutryk & Sons in the near future for other projects and I highly recommend this company!
