The Uplands Center

The Uplands is one of the most special destinations in the Catskills. There are surprise/delights at every turn: from the amazing trails on property, to the food/snacks, to appointment of the rooms and even the amazing coffee/tea bar. Ann and Chris are so hospitable. I will NEVER forget my experience.

I had the privilege of staying here for a retreat with a group and was so impressed with the center. It seemed each detail was thoroughly thought out, and the whole place felt so welcoming. The staff were wonderful and so accommodating. I left feeling like I've known them for years. The staff is so intentional with everything they do and the land is so beautiful. I left feeling renewed after just a couple of days here. I hope to visit again.

I had the most memorable experience at The Uplands Center. I attended a retreat there, and everything was perfect - from the accommodations to the food, to the staff. Everyone was warm and welcoming, and it was evident that the place was carefully crafted to provide this type of experience. The surroundings were serene and tranquil. I felt at peace while there. It was my first visit, but it won't be my last!

I've been to retreats around the world, and can't think of a better place to have one. The setting is glorious, the people are beautiful, and the setup is just perfect for a period of rest, reflection, and renewal. And it doesn't hurt that the food and the kitchen staff are just wonderful. I would go back in a heartbeat!
