Our family loves Stony Creek Farm! It's always incredibly beautiful and relaxing, perfect for a family with varying takes on camping (comfy beds, running water, and lovely showers combined with the being surrounded by nature and cozying up in a *large* tent). Over the course of a fall weekend, we made apple cider donuts in the farm kitchen, helped move the pasture for the sheep, collected and ate delicious eggs, befriended several chickens - including one who kept breaking into our tent! - and fed the pigs. It's always a delight to visit and we'll definitely be back!

I wanted to share an updated review of Stony Creek. We've been coming here for at least 7 years now- a few years, we came twice. It's become a tradition that our whole family and friend group looks forward to every single year. We've been here every month they're open- we've been the first and last guests of the season. There's something new every time we're here - whether it's newborn calfs in the spring, swimming in the pond in the summer or fall foliage and roaring fireplaces in the autumn. The kids get to camp and be free range all weekend long while adults can choose to chase them or sit in the tent staring off to nowhere. The Marsiglios are the most welcoming, outgoing, and tireless working people we've ever met and they take sustainable farming and education seriously- my kids ALWAYS learn SOMETHING there- how tadpoles becomes frogs as 3 year olds or the benefits of rotational farming as 10 year olds. Pizza night is always a hit and even on bad weather days, you won't have a bad time at the farm. Food & drinks: The farm store offers amazing sustainably raised meats. Save room for pizza night on Saturdays!

What an unbelievable family experience. Cannot recommend a farm-stay at Stony Creek strongly enough. Kate and her family and staff create a magical environment for everyone. Our family of four has loved it so much we have turned it into an annual trip for four years running now.

Can't say enough about how amazing it was to get away from the busy lifestyle and enjoy a family friendly vacation in nature. Digitally detoxing was hard at first but oh so worth it. Kids enjoyed chopping the wood and making nightly camp fires, s'mores making, getting fresh eggs from the chicken coop, feeding the farm animals, enjoying the stunning and relaxing grounds, playing with the dogs, cats and other farm animals, swimming in the nearby lake, getting ices from the farm store, star gazing, cooking breakfast over the wood burning stove in our tent. They also enjoyed the day camp led by Darlia aka Cayotee. These family memories will be cherished. Love the hidden bed in middle of the tent, such a great combination of camping yet having amenities like toilet sink and wood burning oven in the tent. Went to ice cream in town about 10 minutes away. There's also a jujitsu studio called The Depot in town if your kids want to take a class. Comfortable beds. Loved hearing the creek outside, crickets chirping and rain pattering. We got to be with nature in the comfort of a cozy bed. So special. Rooms: Comfortable beds. Loved hearing the creek outside, crickets chirping and rain pattering. Nearby activities: Went to ice cream in town about 10 minutes away. There's also a jujitsu studio called The Depot in town if your kids want to take a class. Noteworthy details: Love the hidden bed in middle of the tent, such a great combination of camping yet having amenities like toilet sink and wood burning oven in the tent.

We love hosting you and your family! It is such an honor that you and the other families in your friend group return year after year. We love seeing the kids spill out of cars upon arrival. Each one running to their favorite places and animals. We look forward to hosting you again this year!

It was so fabulous to host you and your kids at the farm for four days! I am so glad they enjoyed working with Daria during the Growing Wild workshop! It is always so fun to see kids enjoy the farm and natural world on their own terms. - kate
