I went there because I had a cracked implant crown and a fill in on another tooth fell off. when the doctor saw me he said the tooth just needed a fill and he would change the crown on the implant crown to a new one at the same time he wanted to give me a crown on the two teeth that follow the implant tooth as he said "cosmetic wise it would look so much nicer". I said no . but at last he convinced me to do the implant crown and one tooth. He started the work and filled the tooth and took the cracked implant off and shaved the other tooth down for the crown. I kept going back due to the pain in my tooth the one he filled. I went several times and saw a different dentist since he was never there. I was given antibiotics steroids the pain ran from the my ear through the top and bottom of my mouth. The pain was so bad I couldn't sleep. I was like that for about 3 weeks At last i had to go to another dentist which told me the root was damaged , due to the emergency and that they didn't take my insurance but i trusted this dentist I paid him $500.00 to start the root canal. I returned to Dr. Ivry since he called me after several phone calls i did to the office requesting my $1000 back.I told him what happened and that he had charged my insurance things that were never done . I wanted my money back he had already requested and received authorization for crowns that i had done years ago with another dentist, also charged insurance for 4 fill ins and other things he never did. and charged me too. He agreed to return my money. Then I received a call from his secretary telling me to return so we could talk. When I returned he finished the root canal and put in the crowns . He requested to return in 2 more weeks to finish the fill in for the root canal. On my way out I requested to speak to him regarding the billing issue and that the secretary told me i had to bring my credit card to have the money refunded to it. He gave me another story that we will take care of it when his secretary returns and that he put the implants in so that we have to speak about the me getting money back. The implants were paid by my insurance i should of never been charged. When I arrive home I realize he grinded my natural teeth on the top to have the implant fit.Who does that the implant should of been adjusted not the other teeth. Now my natural teeth is scratching my cheek and they look tiny. The crown is hurting . He charged my insurance allot of things he did not do. Now i'm stuck going to another dentist to fix all he did. Please Stay away from this office . He feels he could do whatever he wants with your mouth. he is a scammer.
