So here we are. Two black women. My mother and I decided to go to ulta even though last summer (which was the last time i went to this piece of sh** establishment) i had a disgusting experience and of course, like the idiot I am, i went back. I can tell they were short staffed so Im not going to make a big deal about not being greeted or even asked for help about anything. So Im testing my mothers foundation. Shes a darker skinned woman, so foundations are harder for her to match, considering the market isnt for us much less a deep toned beautiful woman like my mom. I say this to say, when we go shopping for foundation, powders, any facial makeup, we have to really take our time and make sure its a good match because I will NOT have my mother looking ashy in these streets! The security guard keeps circling around to us and of course as black women, this is nothing new. My mother is older tho, what does she look like stealing? Anyway, i sat her down, Im testing the foundations on her because no one is there to help, and he comes and sits directly in front of us guys. DIRECTLY IN FRONT OF US. Violation???? I think yes. Hes watching us in our faces. We are both two hard working black women. I do not need to steal a 42$ powder! That would actually be the cheapest foundation both my mother and i have in our collection. Please!! I am so hurt, Im so bothered i am so disgusted about everything that just took place. I feel so violated and so disrespected. Black women are the most disrespected in Amerikkka. Im sick of this. PLEASE do something about that black security guard, ULTA!
