So happy to have found NYMB after an online search! The communication with staff virtually or by phone was always a helpful, pleasant experience and they were consistently accessible and responsive despite the pandemic and recent snow storms. The process of donating from phone intake, online questionnaire to instructions for packing and mailing the frozen milk in their supplied, pre-delivery box was seamless. Thank you NYMB for your professionalism and fulfilling such an important, noble mission.

NYMB is amazing. To donate milk you have to follow a very easy steps. They always answer and help you with everything. Also their website is very easy to use and they explain all the process to donate and receive milk.

After my newborn was diagnosed with a dairy allergy, I was unable to use a freezer full of pumped milk. It seemed like such a pity for the countless (often middle of the night) pumps to go wasted. NY Milk Bank made a thorough process simple. After an easy application, I was approved for the next step- a blood draw. I was able to go to the nearest Quest and was in/out in 20 mins. A few days later, a freezer box showed up at my apartment that I filled with milk. It feels good to know the milk will help little babies in the NICU who need it most! Sue at the Milk Bank was also incredibly helpful and quickly responded to all my questions!

A friend recommended the NY Milk Bank to me because she had a great experience donating breastmilk through them and I had a significant oversupply and was running out of room in my freezer. There were a few steps to become eligible to donate but the process was easily laid out and no cost to me. The staff are very pleasant to communicate with and shipping the boxes from my house has been convenient and easy. I'm so thankful that the NYMB exists and can provide newborns in need with precious breastmilk. If you are considering donating please reach out to them!
