I went in for a laparoscopic procedure with my regular OBGYN who is a specialist in Gynaecological Surgery. I cannot say enough good things about my experience at St. Lukes. The nursing staff were absolutely stupendous. Extremely kind and professional bedside manner. The anaesthesiologist was extremely knowledgeable and confident and put me at ease prior to my procedure. My doctor had confidence in his team and he did a great job. St. Lukes is underestimated. It is an old and outdated building but appearances are deceiving. I have never had a better experience at a hospital all around!

Horrible experience yesterday. I went to the ER not able to breathe and my mouth was dry and dizzy not able to walk. I told the front counter nurse and she took my info. I told the other nurse who took my pulse and also got ignored. I sat there still without my breathing and desperate I WAS DYING. After a while I told the nurse that I needed help and she went to get someone but they both came out saying "How is to busy and theres already to much going on". and yeah, nobody came for me.throughout all this time she was looking at me maybe making sure I didnt die on them. Luckily I survived in the waiting room by my own and there was nothing wrong at the end. These nurses should have more empathy towards people and respect. I know how fustrating and busy it can get for them we are all human but theirs a limit.
