        While their style is a little cramped due to COVID restrictions, these folks do a great job serving the community. They provide hot meals (to go, for now) several times per week, with help from various local faith communities; give out groceries once a week to neighborhood clients of the Damien Center of Troy; collect and distribute good used furniture to families starting over; teach computer programming and coding to high school kids in the summer; provide Protestant campus ministry at Russell Sage College and sponsor an annual Rev Dr Martin Luther King Jr scholarship. Full disclosure: I started out as an occasional volunteer early in the 2020 COVID shutdown, bringing donated food from Hannaford's in my neighborhood down to TAUM for their weekly grocery distribution to clients of the Troy Damien Center. Now I serve on the board!
