They designed a beautiful solar paneled carport that I built a few years ago. They were great to work with. A year later, a neighbor wanted the same carport for himself. A very successful model!

At the beginning of last summer, I was looking into the possibilities of selling my home. I had had a wheelchair ramp put in the back. Unfortunately, there was no permits done for the ramp. The city of Troy told me I would have to reach out to an architecture firm to get there approval that everything that code. Well. I spoke to the owner, who in turn sent out one of her interns. It turned out that the ramp did not meet code supposedly. So before we reached out to the contractor, the intern drew up some plans as to what we could offer. The cost to fix the ramp was up in the air. Anyway, after the plans were drawing up, I reached out to the contractor, and he was adamant that the ramp met city code. He said he had just done work at one of the cities apartment complexes and used the same measurements for their work up at that place. When I told Liza (?), the owner of TAP, she said she was on the board of directors of that apt complex, and she had never heard of this contractor. She asked for his contact information, and she would reach out to him herself. Well, I waited a month or so and didn't hear anything back, so I sent Liza an email to see what was going on. I had to reintroduce myself, and she said she would definitely reach out and get back to me. I didn't bother follow up with her again. It is now spring, and this place has let me down so much. How am I supposed to proceed, when the architect won't stand behind the work. I guess I'll have to go to somebody else and start all over. Thanks a lot TAP.
