Upstate Gastroenterology Associates

I have been a patient of both Drs Robinson as has my family for years. Both drs are very professional, office staff was fine and procedure went without a hitch. I'm shocked to read some of these reviews. My family and I have never had bad experiences with Upstate. I've referred people to them as well.

Have never been treated so rudely in a doctor's office in my life. My elderly mother was clapped at, barked at, and verbally harangued by staff at this location. Don't waste your time with these guys unless you like to be mistreated.

Front staff was great, Dr. Pronold was great, Inez was great, I had no issues. I dont normally leave reviews, but I didnt encounter any horror stories like so many others appear to have had, so I felt a positive review was definitely necessary. Would recommend

I am a long-time patient of Dr. Robinson, Sr. I really like him and I think he is a very good doctor, but I can no longer tolerate his rude, completely incompetent office staff. They never do what they say they are going to do, especially Kathy, and when you confront them, they have every excuse in the book, but still nothing gets done. I went in to meet with Dr. Robinson prior to my standard screening colonoscopy, just as I have done every year for the past 20 years, but to my surprise this was the first time I was not able to meet with Dr. Robinson. Instead I met with Deb. She had her back to me typing on her laptop for the entire brief visit, and when I asked a question she said "let's not ask questions now, just get your colonoscopy done and we can take it from there". Then she proceeded to give me the wrong prep kit (since she did not hear a word I said) and sent me on my way. To make matters worse, it was coded in as a "diagnostic" colonoscopy, and now insurance is refusing to pay for it. I have contacted Dr. Robinson's office probably 15 times in the last six months and have gotten absolutely nowhere with them. Even CDPHP has been unable to get a response from them. Unless you enjoy stress, do not use this practice! I will be finding another doctor, and my guess is that they won't care a bit. They will probably be happy to ease up their workload.
