After YEARS of my Childrens Father being in this program for BOTH mental Health AND Substance Abuse I have to say its Inconsistent due to The FREQUENT CHANGE of twelve year old consulars with little to NO Experience and a minor degree. While some have been better than others, this last year with them takes the cake of disappointment.. Im finally trying to leave the toxic situation and while Horizons wanted ME to help them by holding meds etc. in the early stages - NOONE seemed to care About my phone call to them the other day of concern. While his drug use is pretty stable his mental health is off the charts its best to leave Niagara Falls and stay out of clinics like this for good care they are too dense to see that he is not taking his medications mood stabilizers etc. They are also not bright enough to catch on that MANY of their patients prescribed two or two and a half suboxones take One and Sell the Rest. Its Frustrating the LACK OF SUPPORT they show to Family members who have to be around the person. Also Frustrating that they cant see past MANY of their patients lies- If you actually WANT to get well - Go Somewhere else and definitely leave the Falls for Psychiatric care. The counselors begin their careers their most dont stay and once again have very little experience. My frustration is that the psychiatrist doesnt catch on. However they take their info from the consular . I find it sad that this person is slowly falling through the cracks after a little over two years of sobriety and somewhat stable mental health because their lack of ability and experience to do their job. Very Disappointing!! - If you are going for drug rehab and just want to play games and not get well Sure it might be for you - very easy to bring pee into the center also once your consular befriends u there are little to NO counts which wrappers you can sell and save anyways, and the numbers are becoming more the same so That system isnt the brightest anyways. Get it together NIAGARA FALLS HORIZONS and stop letting your patients tell YOU what to DO!! And a Big thank u for helping me when I asked for family help however asking me to guard the meds YOU TOOK Responsibility for writing at the beginning thats a double edge sword no matter what the patient says if they are still living with this said family member whos calling their story must not add up completely
