John and his partner did an excellent job installing our kitchen backsplash tile. John was extremely responsive to all my initial questions, and provided a fair quote quickly. Once we agreed to proceed with the work, they scheduled us ASAP. They were prompt and got the work done in less than a day. I am absolutely thrilled with the work performed by AJ Tiles! I have gotten so many compliments from all the other contractors that have visited my home since, all saying what a great job they have done. John is extremely mild mannered and really a pleasure to talk to. He and his father have done such a beautiful, professional job. They even custom mixed a grout color that complimented my tiles instead of using the store bought brand that didn't really match. I really can't say enough how much I love my tile work! AJ Tiles had great communication/customer service, showed up on time, worked extremely cleanly, was reasonably priced, and the end bathroom turned out gorgeous. We had our foyer tiled and cant say enough about the quality of work from John and his team. They were professional, clean, fairly priced and incredibly efficient, finishing the job ahead of schedule. We accidentally ordered less marble than the square footage of the room which proved to be no issue for them. Their incredible skill cutting the tiles minimized the waste and actually left us with a few extra tiles once the job was complete. We are extremely satisfied with how the floor came out and will definitely be using them for our future tiling needs.

We were 'wowed' by the entire experience and recommend John without any reservation or hesitation to everyone. Our project involved installing angora herringbone as backsplash for our kitchen. Prior to meeting John, we had hired an experienced general contractor but later learned that on a scale of 1 to 10, angora herringbone is a 10 in terms of difficulty, so you have to know what you are doing. The job that contractor did was so bad we terminated them after four days of fruitless work and a messed up kitchen. Scarred from the experience, we decided to seek a specialist and John at AJ Tile, hoping for the best. Not only did they complete the entire job in record time, it was done beautifully and on budget. No drama, no surprises, no delays, no excuses. This alone merited 5-stars in my mind but the unexpected kicker is that John is also a great communicator, highly responsive to calls or texts and one of the most polite and affable people I have met in a while (and especially in the construction field). Had AJ Tiles replace my tile floors in the master bathroom, as well as remove the shower pan and install tile shower floors. They did incredible work! They were very professional and responsive. I plan on using them in the future! Services: Tile work replacement, Tile work installation
