If you have the chance to hear Robert Searing speak at the museum or in the community, DO IT. He gives extremely engaging, funny, and informative lectures. New and long-time residents are sure to learn something interesting.

Only made it to the store, but lots of things specific to Syracuse and central New York. Parking can be difficult depending on the day.

Truly amazed at the research center above the museum!! Its so fascinating; all the historical photos, articles and books they have from the 1800s. I went the other day to check out old pictures of West Onondaga Street and all the Victorian mansions they used to have before they were demolished. Extremely sad the city let that street fall into such disrepair, but it was extremely interesting to learn about the cities past! Thanks for your help Marie!
