Renting from Romano was one of the worst experiences of my life. People were in and out of the property for the entire year I rented. First for everything that was breaking, then for an investigation that National Grid was conducting based on previous tenants, and towards the end when the property owner put the house on the market because apparently Romano wasn't paying him. Romano Property Management would ask why we, the tenants, weren't taking care of things it was their job to do. A dishwasher broke and my family wound up buying our own replacement after waiting 2 to 3 months for them to do something. When the basement flooded, I took the time to look up where to get pallets and bring them home to get stuff off the basement floor. There was even one instance where our washing machine broke, and Stacey Romano suggested I wear a low cut shirt, spray some perfume, and chat up maintenance to get a discount. Completely unprofessional and inappropriate. Update: They are currently keeping money that the state issued for rental assistance, that does not belong to them. The property was purchased in February 2022 by another property managing company, and Romano's company continued to collect the assistance checks after the purchase. I don't believe that has anything to do with how good the property owner is. Another side note: They we're terrible gossips about the property owner. Once again, very unprofessional.
