I would 100% choosing to do the summer pre college program. It is an amazing opportunity to learn the on campus lifestyle and also interact with the professors. You meet so many amazing people and make so many friends. Overall, you just have fun! Theres so many activities and things planned for you to do along the way and you will not ever be bored. The community there is also just so welcoming!

I would suggest Syracuse's Pre-College to anyone wishing to experience college while still in high school because my pre-college experience there was truly unique. At Syracuse Pre-College, you create priceless experiences, make friends from all over the world, try new activities, and experience college life. Because you're surrounded by so many people who share your passion for learning, you also discover who you really are. I heartily urge everyone to enroll in Syracuse Pre-College, and don't be scared to think that you'll be on your own because this program teaches you how to be more assertive and step beyond your comfort zone.

Before going to pre-college, I didnt know anyone. I went into it with an open mindset, but I was still nervous, and didnt know what to expect of Syracuse. Fast forward 2 weeks, and I absolutely loved my time there. I was in Art in the Digital Age, and got the opportunity to use technology that was new to me, while doing what I love and making art. After the two weeks of being there I had created so much. I 3D printed, made a 3D puzzle, learned how to use tinker cad, and learned to scan objects. During my time at Syracuse some of my favorite memories were from when we went ice skating, hiking, and the many hours I spent playing ping-pong. As much as I loved my class, pre-college was also really amazing because of the wide variety of people I met. I made friends in all different classes, and from all around the country, who I still talk to now. I would really recommend it to high school students who want to meet more people and expand their knowledge in a topic of choice over the summer.
