Alta Equipment Company

Hours state 7am to 5 pm. Arrived to pick up equipment. Followed mechanics into yard and proceeded to hook up my trailer and was told to stop and could not do so. Hours are 8am and summer hours are online. Pathetic I could drop off my equipment no problem because they didn't know how to operate the machine but I was not allowed to hook up to it to leave in a timely manner. Place is a joke.

Alta has worst service ever. I was lied to and told my machine would be fixed in a week and its been 3 months and its still not fixed. Alta syracuse doesn't have the technicians to actually fix your equipment. Ive talked to other customers and this place is the worst, 10k later and my machine still isn't fixed. This review is spot that I will quote. the service department and Ryan Curtis are liars and thieves. Alta Equipment Company 5985 Old Ct St, Syracuse, NY "I give alta equipment a less than one star rating ...i bought a jcb 55 mini excavator with 195 hours on it ....they would nt let me load my own excavator on my own trailer in there yard because there was a think red warning light on in the machine that said to stop shut down Critical error ...when i git back to my yard i Immediately called the sake women jerry lynn kocak she stated that she wwas the light and and didnt say anything to anyone and let me take the machine....they have sent to different machanic out first one told me nothing wrong to run it ....so i video the errors code every time i started it ....and showed shop manager...second machanic came out said the machine had to go back to alta equipment shop to Diagnose the problem ...now it been going on 2 months with me with out my excavator......i talked to Ryan Curtis sales manager who is a Weasel and told him i wanted my 10, 000 down payment back and they can kerp there junk equipment. Now it going on a week and still on excavator or no down payment back .....im a small businesses owner and im out 26,000 $ because of alta Incompetency ....they r not even trying to make right .....so civil court here we come .....please do not do business with there Idiots........ adam cornell"
