Northwell Health Imaging Center at Syosset

I have been for at least a few MRIs and x-rays at this place. I like Northwell very much theyre very organized and standard medical facilities. Staff is always courteous and knowledgeable. They process your insurance quite well. At this location I was a little surprised last time that there was a guard who was guiding you to different stations. That was new. I didnt see that in my previous visits and it was a little funny because it wasnt really crowded

STAT doesnt mean anything there. Took 45 minutes for an x-ray and 3 hours for the physician to get the results!!! Ellie was rude and could care less about a STAT order. Additionally, the technician was impatient, rude and rough with the elderly patient!!!

Hi why is taking 2 weeks for me to get my husband right hip x-ray dated 2/10/24, forms was completed, he signed the release form per medical record , why the result did not sent directly to his physician.

I would avoid Northwell Health Imaging Centers as they have proven themselves incapable of obtaining the advance precertification, and then asking you to reschedule your appointment to start the process all over again. They had ten days to do so. What a nightmare spending the whole day talking to many Northwell staffers at their office and on the phone. Their staff is not sympathetic and did not care about my hardship. They treat you as a number and did not make any effort to resolve their failure. I wound up getting the precertification on my own the same day and took my business to Zwanger-Pesiri Radiology who was able to schedule me the following day. Never again Northwell. Give your money to companies that care. Zero stars but needed to give them one to submit my comment.

I been going to this location for a while , don't mind driving from Glen Cove , because the care they provide is excellent , very friendly professional, caring ... I highly recommend this location .
