Silk Road is a studio I cant wait to get to and when Im there, dont want to leave. The environment is so supportive and the owners really care about their members, students and our work. If youre looking to create with clay in a non-competitive and relaxed atmosphere, Silk Road is your studio!

Ive been coming here since the studio opened and HIGHLY recommend it to anyone interested in pottery or a creative outlet. The studio owners and members are incredibly kind and inspiring, and have created a community where everyone feels welcome. Its truly a hidden gem and my favorite place on the island.

Took a 6 week beginners wheel throwing class and had so much fun with my teacher, Darren! It was such a pleasure meeting the members+ others who were also taking classe at Silk Road Ceramics
I was a total beginner and now am a pottery enthusiast. Everyone is so welcoming and open to sharing what they know about clay, glazes, and firing. I highly recommend giving any of their classes or workshops a try!!

I have been a member since they opened and absolutely love it! Beautiful people who are generous with their knowledge, open to new ideas, and have created a warm welcoming atmosphere. I look forward going every single time!
