Have used Bay st animal hospital for multiple pets over 15 years. Drs Cohen, Cavallaro and Candrilli are exceptional. I wouldn't trust any one else. Very Special Thanks to Drs Cav and Candrilli for their kindness and compassion during my Winston's very last visit a few months ago.

The only thing I can say is that I will never return to this place, apart from being very expensive, some racists treated me in such a terrible way, but when a white person with blue eyes arrived, they completely changed their behavior.

I hate that my experiences here are for what they've been for, but this place is so nice. Staff is amazing, kind, understanding and willing to work with you.

Have had our cats checked here from kittens (10 years ago) to adults. Unfortunately, we had to have one of the two sisters put down last night as she developed a cancerous mass that accelerated so quickly over the course of a couple of weeks. Dr. Aanonsen was our initial contact, who took the vitals and some other samples. Highly professional and caring every step of the way. Unfortunately, only one day later our cat Danni took a marked turn for the worse, lethargic and clearly in substantial pain. A late night visit with Dr. Candrilli included some testing along with confirmation of one of the poor readings on a blood sample taken the day prior. Further examination revealed conditions that made any treatment virtually impossible with almost no chance of improvement. I have to stress, that Dr. Candrilli presented us with facts and opinions in an incredibly caring way, fully relating to the stress that we were going through. While Danni continued to express her pain and discomfort, in ways that only tear at your hear strings, as a family we decided to end her pain. We stayed with Danni as the process was completed and we were relieved that she was no longer in pain. I cannot stress enough how both doctors, especially Dr. Candrilli, understood, respected, and empathized with our plight. The culture at Bay Street Animal Hospital is amazing from the reception staff through all we came in contact with. Bad enough that we've lost a pet that was, for all intents and purposes, part of our family, but the folks here could not have been more supportive. We have a regularly scheduled follow-up visit with Calli, Danni's ginger sister, this weekend and I take comfort in knowing she will be in good hands.
