I have had a very pleasant and positive experience At Richmond interventional, pain management Dr Anurag Bhatia MD literally gave me my life back. being at work, riding my bike Pretty much pain-free, considering all the trauma my body has been through due to a rear end, car accident I am very grateful to the doctor and his entire staff, and I highly recommend Dr Anurag Bhatia MD if you or a loved one are suffering in pain. Pay the office a visit and get your life back on track.

To see 5 Stars applied to this Practice isn't unfathomable in the least as Dr. Bhatia has been my saving grace for some many years and I've recommended him to anyone I've spoken to ( mostly a new acquaintance who shares my unfortunate level of pain ) with the confidence that they will be happy if they take my advice, switch from their Pain Mgmt. Dr. and finally to receive the care they needed and deserved and their current Physician wasn't adequate enough to deliver. I felt I was doing a good deed everytime I made this recommendation and although I wouldn't know the outcome of it didn't matter to me because whomever did choose to make an Appt. with Dr. Bhatia was yet another Satisfied Patient much like myself. I could not say enough great things about him but periodically throughout my years as his Patient I can't say the same about the Staff ( who don't seem to sustain any longevity for whatever reasons ) . I have not been impressed by most of the Front Desk Personnel finding them to be rude, unwelcoming, definitely uncaring per their patient protocol policies for which they seemed to enjoy implementing when a Patient might be at fault ie: running late, personal matter, etc. The sign of Tardiness had been shown to me via the notice on the wall along with a finger pointed towards the door indicating that I could not be seen but I could reschedule for another day. I get that rules need to be in place but some compassion would help to ease the circumstances as to why I needed to have them reiterated. Life Happens and it's not always because " Time " isn't given a consideration as if I don't care if I caused someone an intentional inconvenience. I have currently been trying to abide with an outstanding Balance for Services undefined to me, but I trusted the Billing Dept. when they said I incurred one nonetheless. My Insurance doesn't require me to pay for Office Visits, Procedures, and if so why wouldn't I have been advised of this Bill thats been due for approximately 3 yrs. or more sooner than a month ago? However, I was forced to pay it or I wasn't able to make my next month's appt. which is a Dire threat to me as I can't be without my Medication and it's such the Perfect regimen that I wouldn't trust any other Dr. not only to comply with the order withstanding but also to be willing to administer them in lieu of recent events that make them harder to obtain per misuse, abusive actions, and those who share with unauthorized persons , I can't risk losing my status at this Office and yet I feel violated at the same time. All this negative feedback has no bearing on Dr. Bhatia himself and I imagine it's why most Patients like myself do not look elsewhere. I have the utmost respect for this Man as a person as well as a Physician and it's a blemish so undeserving that can't and shouldn't be ignored cause I'm positive that he isn't aware of the shared feelings that have compelled us to write such a review as mine, but I think they need to be conveyed appropriately without malice to the person(s) that caused the reactions based on their effects of being so unethical and unacceptable. It doesn't give me any pleasure to put my words out there in an undesirable way but if we do then perhaps after 0our thoughts are read they might be given some consideration and that might enable us to only reflect on the positive thoughts we'd prefer to share instead, I know it's my intention and because I am 100% positive of his overall standing that I'll still recommend him but ill be sure to impress my disatifaction with anything else that isnt directed at Dr. Bhatia because in my opinion there aren't any relevant matters to impress upon.
