Great doctor! Evaluated my son, answered all the questions and gave necessary referrals. Waiting time was short.

Don't place a false diagnosis of a "brain lesion" amongst other "differential diagnosis" as you referred to it, as well as "learning disability" as another example on my childs medical record if he doesn't have one, was tested for it by Psychologists and was never diagnosed with it, clearly tested with a 120 IQ, while your false, untested and inaccurate diagnosis is seen and shared across all of our other Northwell providers my child sees, then say you don't know how to take it off and then hang up on me when I ask how you got it up there in the first place. You put it there. You take it off if you never tested my child for it and especially if he doesn't have a brain lesion. I'll be contacting DOH to get that removed... in addition, Waste of time going here in the first place, he'll just refer you to go "look for" another provider who can confirm or rule out ADHD and ASD, since he cant even give you a provider himself. What kind of Neurologist can't confirm ADHD (when that's why I came in the first place for the Tova test) but then refers me to get a neuropsych testing yet when I ask WHO can he refer me to, he has no referral and hangs up? The provider making the referral is supposed to facilitate the referral to the right person, and everyone knows child psychologists are far and few. If a neurologist is gonna make such a bold recommendation that my child needs weekly psychologist visits after 3 minutes of ever seeing my child and couldn't officially diagnose him with ADHD (which is what I thought we were there for), then he needs to provide another specialist who CAN, and have good reason for recommending such in the first place, since this is his specialty, and not waste a parent's time with useless tests that don't officially confirm a ADHD diagnosis which I had to wait 3 months for. When I then asked him to give me a provider to go to then who can make the diagnosis, he hung up. What the hell did I wait 3 months for if you can't put an official diagnosis for what we came for, yet report other false, unfounded disorders in my child's medical record!? Beyond incompetent and unprofessional. I'm not even sure why I got referred to him for confirming an ADHD suspicion if he is just gonna refer me to other specialists himself to do it after wasting our time. As for the false claims and unfound diagnosis in my Son's Northwell records, which he refuses to provide evidence for or remove, that's a major problem and I'll be making a complaint with the DOH to get that taken off. I now understand why the low star reviews.

My son needed to see a neurologist because he had a seizure. Everyone recommended me to go to another doctor On the island but that doctor did not have immediate availability. My child's pediatrician recommended us to Dr. Schwartzberg. It was LIFE CHANGING! Let me tell you why... Dr. Schwartzberg ordered for my son to receive an MRI and there we discovered a brain tumor, which we later found out that it was cancerous. Dr. Schwartzberg referred us to one of the best surgeons in the world to have it removed. During this time, i did not see Dr. Schwartzberg as a hero. I only saw the surgeon that removed the tumor completely as the hero. A month after my son's surgery and diagnosis, we finally got my son to see the neurologist that we originally wanted to see and this neurologist told us that they would have never sent my son for an MRI for a seizure. And was kind of making them seem like they're the better doctor but in all reality that doctor would have killed my son because this cancerous tumor that my son had was very silent and didn't give us any indication that it was there besides the tiny little absent seizure that he had. If you're still following me here... DR. SCHWARTZBERG SAVED MY SON'S LIFE! Just by ordering him a simple MRI. This doctor does not have that relaxed mindset when it comes to your child. He makes sure that everything is okay. Yeah you might wait awhile in the waiting area, but it is well worth it. He takes his time with every patient and talks to them without having them feel rushed and makes sure that he asks every question and explain everything to you in it's entirety (in English terms). Bring a book, magazine, or tablet, he is well worth the wait.
