My husband and I finished a dr's appointment and found this place while driving home. As soon as we enter we saw so much clutter I told my husband I don't know if I want to eat here. Let me start by saying the food was delicious and the waiter was very friendly and professional. The only thing about this diner is the amount of dirt everywhere, salt and pepper were almost finished and so dirty, no sugar either, and the tables were scratched and you can see the dirty wood, I can't imagine the amount of germs in that table, it was sticky and it's hard to sit and enjoy a meal while looking at a dirty fan and super dirty vent. Then I went to the bathroom and the toilet paper was on the floor and it was wet with urine, the smell was horrible and the sink had pubic hairs, yes multiple curls. Just gross If the manager/owner is reading this please take a few minutes and fix the toilet paper holder, it takes a few minutes and clean that vent and fans because all that dust goes into the food. The food and service is great but unfortunately I would not be coming back to Staten Island Diner because of the dirtiness. If that's the front of the house I can't imagine the back of the house. How dirty is that grill where they cook meats and pancakes? I almost vomited in the bathroom, it's so gross . Please do better, that's how people get sick and I can't believe the health department doesn't get call for dirtiness.
