I have been dealing with Carmelo DeFranco and his team at NYC business group for approximately 10 years now . Being retired and disabled it was very challenging trying to navigate through all the choices of healthcare coverage. I recently saw that a few people wrote bad reviews and wanted to clarify something and let the public know about this person and his staff. The professionalism and courteousness was amazing. The knowledge that Carmelo has was second to none. It was very challenging trying to find the right coverage and many years I was having issues and bad healthcare choices that I made. Carmelo and his staff made all my problems go away. I had a very different case because my wife and I are bicoastal so we needed insurance that we could use in both homes. I have to say we put our heads on the pillow at night and dont worry anymore about which state we are in, and if we have coverage thanks to them. I even transferred my 401k to them to manage and I have to say even in bad markets Carmelo has figured out how to give us solid returns year on end . I would recommend Carmelo to anyone retired or still working . This company is the best and Carmelo is on the front line. Choose these guys and your worries will go away like ours did .

I recently dealt with [NY Business Group] for my insurance needs, and it was nothing short of a nightmare. The staff members lacked even the most basic level of patience and professionalism, making the entire process incredibly frustrating. From the moment I contacted them, it was clear that the staff had no interest in assisting me. They were rude and dismissive, displaying a complete lack of empathy for my situation. It felt like they were more interested in rushing me off the phone than actually helping me understand my policy or address my concerns. Their impatience was particularly evident when I asked questions or sought clarification on certain aspects of my coverage. Instead of taking the time to explain things properly, they brushed me off with vague answers!
