His efforts 15 years ago not only enabled her to avoid unnecessary estate planning expense, it helped position her for the day she had to enter the nursing home. He handled her transition into the home and then onto Medicaid efficiently and professionally and helped preserve a significant portion of her estate. I highly recommend Michael DiMauro If you are in need of an Elder Law attorney. He navigated his way through significant complexities and preserved my parent's estate. I will be forever grateful that a friend recommended him to me and now I am passing on this recommendation to you. Both my parents (in their nineties) had just entered nursing homes. Their assets were in jeopardy of being consumed by long term care expenses. Michael drew up a plan to preserve the estate and before it could be executed my father died.
