Dentist has great customer service. Receptionist manager yelled and lost composure because too many questions were asked. The tone is very old school Staten Islander vibes. I called for medical service and help not reprimand and/or chastising#iykyk

First and foremost, I worry he has an undisclosed medical condition that may be affecting his practice and his coordination.
Regardless, he is not a good dentist. He is not clear with what is happening in your mouth and just wants to state what he wants to do without saying what is going on. He does not want to coordinate with other doctors like endos who would want to simultaneously do work.
I had tough work to do but I told him I was in pain and his response was "You're fine." He is rough.

Omg I am so happy to have found this dentist my old dentist retired after 20 years n he recommended dr mattia I had two root canals n Im so scared he assured me no pain n he was correct no pain during n after I cant say thank you enough to the pleasant staff who know me two months n I feel like Im family they are kind n the dentist is kind n also very gentle thank you dr mattia you are truly a gem

My visits with Dr. Mattia were extremely painful. I understand that there is some pain with dental work, but this was unbearable. There was also serious damage done to my teeth by Dr. Mattai. Dr. Mattia installed two crowns in for me, causing nerve damage to both teeth. Due to the damage I needed root canals in both teeth. Naturally, I did not go back to Dr. Mattia. Both root canals were done by a new dentist. This new dentist also installed the replacement crowns. I called Dr. Mattia's office to let him know what happened. I did ask for a reimbursement for my out of pocket expenses that resulted from the two root canals. His secretary simply hung up on me.
