Grand Oaks Review My husband and I recently threw our daughters first birthday party at Grand Oaks Country Club. We have thrown many parties on Staten Island and I can honestly say that the service we received at Grand Oaks is incomparable. From the moment we booked the event with our event planner, Alyssa, she made me feel like we were in good hands. The days leading up to the party put us at ease with her immeasurable organization and planning skills. The way the entire staff set up our decor and paid attention to detail exceeded our expectations. During the event, we received many compliments about the food and service. Our Maitre D, Betty, ensured everything happened timely. Overall, we are so pleased with the efficiency of the service we received at Grand Oaks and highly recommend anyone using them for their next event.

Grand Oaks is a truly incredible venue with a staff that goes above and beyond to assure you have everything you need to host a fantastic event. Shoutout to Carmela - nobody is better than her!!

The location and the location was good. I am not happy with the cocktail service. Where there are about 10 people around the table they have about 8 items on the tray or they jump from one table to another . If you are going to have an event please discuss the serving arrangement

I got married here in November of 2023. I was extremely excited about this place with how beautiful the venue was. Unfortunately my husband and I had an absolutely horrible experience with the employees. We had originally been working with the event coordinator there that had promised us multiple things to be done. Everything was confirmed verbally and with a signed contract. However, she decided to retire 2 weeks before the wedding and left no contact information and we werent notified of her absence. We only found out that she had retired because we reached out to them to confirm a few minor details 2 weeks before the wedding. At that point, the new coordinator who had taken over her position said there wasnt any proof of the agreements we had in place. They made no effort to reach out to the former event planner which completely screwed us over. Moving forward to the day of the wedding, there were multiple issues. One of the biggest reasons we booked this place was due to the beautiful outdoor area with fire pits which was part of the agreement for cocktail hour. I had gone into the room when the wedding started only to be out into the wrong room that was requested. Upon speaking to an employee we were informed that this hasnt been the first time that this happened. We were extremely furious to have been tricked the day of our wedding. Another issue was The alcohol, it was so watered down that it was basically water. Anyone planning future events with this venue keep in mind to literally write down every detail you would like to be done in contract otherwise they will scam you. The only positive thing I have to say is my bridal attendant Yvette was a absolutely amazing! She was a huge help and I highly recommend her.
