Upon entering the store, I was surprised by the lack of engagement from the staff. Unlike my previous experiences at Ulta, where employees have been proactive in offering assistance, I was met with silence and indifference. The only interaction I had was with the cashier at checkout, and even that felt obligatory.
What disappointed me the most was the sense of being watched and judged throughout my shopping trip. It's disheartening to feel unwelcome and uncomfortable in what should be a safe space for customers. As a former employee of Ulta, I expected better from this location in terms of customer service.
Despite the disappointing service, I will acknowledge that the store itself was clean and well-maintained, which is commendable.
In conclusion, while I appreciate the effort put into maintaining cleanliness, the lack of attentive customer service at the Richmond Ave Ulta was a major letdown. I hope that steps are taken to improve the overall experience for customers in the future.
