We chose Van Alphen to redo our backyard with pavers and to address other surrounding concrete work. We couldnt be happier.. Dealing with the Van Alphen family gave us a good feeling.. Pete was honest, very clear and professional on the work that we needed.. Sandy was very responsive and courteous on all inquiries that we had.. The team doing the work was tremendous hard working, respectful, knowledgeable , appreciative and courteous. Made the process very stress free.. Pete layed out the job perfectly so we knew what was going on and the team followed it to a tee. They come across negatively in a number of ways. While we tried to include them in good faith, from the start we found them unpleasant and uncooperative. It took weeks just to get any answer from them and that was after requests, meetings, calls. We felt like we were asking to build a crenellated castle.
