Hertz Car Sales Smithtown

I bought a car today. Business Manager Larry Martz was not very friendly and he was rude. He did eight somersaults to sale extended warranty, as if he was an employee of the warranty company, not a person to Hertz. When he couldn't sell it , he took too long time and he was rude, when we ask something We did not receive an answer to our questions. I don't recommend this place buying cars. I was not satisfied at all.

My husband ran into the car online for over the weekend and I had an appointment for noon pickup. When we got there shortly after noon, the salesman in and not so nice manner told us that the rental office was closed and there was nothing he could do.

Great prices. The sales person John was very informative and patient. Always available and responded promptly. The no haggle policy was the best part compared to the other dealerships. Overall, very smooth experience. They answered all my question throughly. Really tried to work with me to get me to drive the car I wanted. Finally Larry the manager was very knowledgeable and efficient. He gave great advice. I would definitely drive another 2 hours to come back.

Avoid used car salesmen. Always fair prices with no slimy used car salespeople involved. My go to place for cars. Only idiots buy showroom new cars.

Had a very pleasant transaction at this location. I worked with John Friedman, a nice, friendly and helpful salesman. You pay for what is advertised, there is no hidden fee. Highly recommended Hertz Car Sales for anyone looking to purchase a pre-owned vehicle!
