My daughter's team scrimmaged there. It's a marvelous facility. In relation to the last review, why in the world would parents send a 3 1/2 year-old boy to an organized soccer school? If she wants him to "just have a fun experience and play with other children," she should send him to a nursery school, not a place like this. I know if I were a parent and had, say, a well-behaved, attentive little tyke (such children exist), the last person I'd want to see in the class is some spoiled brat in constant need of discipline. I wasn't there, but just reading this specifics of this woman's complaint leads me to suspect that both she and her kid were customers from hell.

DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILDREN THERE!!!!!!!!!! I have a 3 1/2 year old son and my husband and I thought it would be nice to sign him up for soccer. We thought I would be a fun experience for him to just run around be with other children and learn to play! NOT TO BE YELED AND TAKEN OUT OF THE GROUP 5 TIMES FOR HAVING FUN. We are all for him learning the rules and being part of a team, BUT THAT WILL NEVER HAPPEN AT ISA!

If your child is older, or has had previous soccer experience the individual development programs offered weekday evenings are excellent. Many of the coaches that run these programs are former professional players who still have a passion for the game. They are patient, know how to motivate kids and really run a quality practice. They have a lot to offer to the older kids. However, if your child is just starting out in the sport (age 3 or 4) I'd recommend going some place else, like Premier or NY Red Bulls Mini Kick. In response to the second review posted, the class is advertised as "Little Stars" ages 3 and 4, this is why a parent would sign up their 3 or 4 year old in a soccer school. However, quite often there were many older kids in the group, ages 5+. The class can easily have 10 - 15 kids, with the owner or his son usually running the practice alone. It is unrealistic to expect a 3 year old to stay in his or her place on line with that many kids, with out looking around, moving, or speaking. They are curious little kids with short attention spans, not robots. My poor rating for service was due to an incident between the owner and my younger son, consistent with the first review posted. The owner made a nasty comment to my son, who is 3, at the beginning of the session. When I tried discussing the incident with the owner, he didn't seem interested. He was actually quite annoyed that I had called him. The conversation did not end politely, and I withdrew both of my sons from the place. We had been going there for almost two years at that point. I'd try Premier, or even the NY Red Bulls Mini Kick programs. Both are excellent, and the management is excellent, and there is the utmost of professionalism. Like the person writing the first comment, my wife and I are all for discipline and work ethic. We even withdrew our older son the first time we signed him because he was too disruptive, and signed him up a year and half later. While our younger son was not always attentive, he certainly was not disruptive. But to be treated like the way he was, was uncalled for, and in my opinion quite unprofessional. We weren't expecting preferential treatment, but it was evident that was a complete lack of respect for our son, and many of the other children.
