Very rude staff please find another place to go

Dr. Torres was great-very informative, listened to me etc. However, the staff does NOT answer the phone. Dr told me they prefer email. Doesn't seem to matter what they prefer because a script was submitted back in April and still not approved because insurance has not heard back from doc since APRIL. First time I followed up and actually got someone on the phone they copped an attitude with me like it's not big deal come back for more free samples-stressing FREE. I don't care about free samples, and you're not doing me a favor here. 3 weeks later script is not approved and I can't get a reply to email or voicemail. As soon as I get this approved I'm looking for a new doc. Rheumatology Associates of Long Island clearly doesn't care about their patients or respect patient's time.

She is very thorough. Goes above and beyond. Im not an easy patient being a retired nurse. My whole family sees her now.

Dr. Marinescu was amazing my first visit she stayed late and went through all of my symptoms and history, did panels blood work, Ive had a lot going on and been told by all specialists seen I may need team of specialists to figure out whats going on and treat it. With some drs felt like wasnt getting anywhere but during Covid had two surgeries, more symptoms and just saw her for follow up after all of this and she is going through all of tests, surgeries, and figuring out what next steps are. Over two years of testing and stress but so grateful NY Cancer & Blood after ruling things out and saying think auto immune disease referred me to her office. Its nice to be heard and have dr willing to put in time and help you find answers. Ive done lot research and even primary dr told me it can take years sometimes to get definite diagnosis and then even longer to find treatment that works so I understand that. And my case hasnt been cut and dry or easy but Im so grateful I found her and even the staff is always helpful and cheery. They can be busy but I get why, when have good drs lot patients want see them! I will only go back to her after being bounced around because believe she is only one getting down to bottom of underlying issue. Thank you so much! Recommend anyone else needing great dr for diagnosing or treating rheumatological issue to go to their office!

She is not only rude she is very uncompitant doctor.I have been her patient since last 3 yrs and she was never nice to me whenever I go with some problem she can never diagnose n help me. I never recommend anyone to go to her.
