This was my mom's garden, she spent a lot of her money and time keeping it beautiful.  The  building manager (Julie) shut her water supply off and caused her garden to diminish and eventually die. There were no water restrictions in Rotterdam at that time.  :(This was a wonderful place for seniors when my mom moved in 2005.With a new building manager this place is a great place.

This could be a very nice place for people to live except for (Julie) the woman in charge in the office.  She is critical, manipulative and downright abusive to the seniors.  My mother lived there and had dementia and was not very mobile.  This woman would barge into my mom's apartment, ranting and raving and being insulting.  She would threaten my mother with eviction for no good reason other than to upset her and also threaten to make her get rid of her cat that was no issue.  I spoke to her, letting her know that my mom did not understand everything anymore and would become confused but she did not care.  My mom has since passed away and I remain friends with some of the other folks in the same building.  She continues her abuse of all of the seniors unless they strictly comply with her made up rules.  She has made many of them cry for simple problems such as the loss of a key when the person is in their 90's.  Such a person as this, should NOT be dealing with seniors who many are in their final resting place in their lives.  They should be being treated as individuals and not have to be nervous where they live.  I will also be contacting the Albany Diocese about this venomous woman to get her removed from abusing the poor seniors in this senior housing complex.  No one should be paying to be abused, this is worse for them than being in a nursing home.  Saying a prayer for the people at this location and any others that she may work in.

As a 6 year resident here at FLOB, I wish to thank management for the considerable and ongoing changes that are occurring and on a consistent basis. The atmosphere is pleasant and we are a lot happier with our home. Thanks to Nicole for listening a n d addressing any concerns with attentiveness and respect. We are excited with the changes that are happening and look forward to upgrades forthcoming. Not only thanks to Nicole but to Will and Sophia for all they are doing to ensure our home is safe, clean and comfortable.
