Dr. Faiq A. Hameedi, MD

Dr. Hameedi has surpassed my expectations! He has helped me over the last three years with my depression and anxiety. I have never encountered a Dr. that has so much wisdom and compassion. He has guided me to be the person I want to be. I cannot be more grateful for him.

I've received services from Dr. Hameedi via telecommunications during the COVID-19 pandemic, in which he was prescribing medication for my treatment. He was inconsistent with our appointments on numerous occasions, but considering that our appointments were via FaceTime it wasn't too much of an inconvenience for me. However, it was very typical for him to take DAYS to submit my prescription to my pharmacy, which was a MAJOR inconvenience for me for obvious reasons. Upon addressing this, Dr. Hameedi provided me with lame and nonsensical excuses for his irresponsibility. I expressed my frustration about the matter, which he dismissed by saying, I can no longer treat you. Please seek help elsewhere. I am by no means saying that Dr. Hameedi is a bad doctor; this was just my personal experience with him. I understand that he may be overwhelmed with the change in structure due to this pandemic, but nonetheless, I think he could have handled his work in a more professional and empathetic manner.

I have had experiences with many doctors and Hameedi was probably the worst of them. Every session was brief and felt rushed, every symptom was met with a new pill and what he was meant to be helping he was in fact making worse. Additionally, I would show up for appointments at 8am and the office would be locked and I would be left waiting for him, very unprofessional. i have also read other reviews which discuss his unprofessional actions in dealing with and ghosting patients or even telling them he can no longer treat them without even providing a plan for the patient, just bailing on them...really what sort of DR does that? Perhaps he meant well, but based on results and how I felt during sessions I would NOT suggest anybody see him.
