We want to clarify our standard policy for replacing fillings, which typically takes place one year after the initial procedure. However, if a filling comes out before a year has passed, which is a rare occurrence, we will replace it free of charge. Most insurance plans cover fillings for a specific tooth once per year, and if the initial filling was performed at our office, we are more than willing to address this issue at no cost. We also double-checked our records and found that we have not had to replace a filling that has fallen out less than a year after it was placed in about 5 years.
