I have had an experience with this company, and it was a pleasant one I must say. I had an issue with water pipe, I think it was broken or something. I cant really say what happened because it was working perfectly well, but pattern it dispenses that shows that something was definitely wrong. I also noticed that the line where the pipe was laid is always wet; definitely a leak I guess.
At that point, I knew I needed as professional to get it fixed. But the funny thing is that everybody seem to know Long Island Sewer and Water Main, and when it was time to seek a recommendation, the name keeps popping up. So I just had to settle for it; like... of the whole neighbourhood thinks they are good, I thing they will be good. And yes, they are.
I cant really say what they did while on sight, but there was a lot modern machines around, and there was no digging. So, after two days of working on those pipes, they were done. My observation though: they are well timed, there are quite some number of cool tech machines in use, and they are pretty first. Highly recommend.

Hi there, I will try to make this as short as I can. Mine was a busted in the water pipe, I didnt know much about plumbing but I know it needed a lot of digging to get to the pipe. Any way, I had my brother make contact with the company, and they did their thing.
My observation: their equipment was really up to date, cos there wasnt much of a digging after all, guess I was still living in the 90s...lol. Secondly, there were prompt, I mean... its about 46 minutes drive from Nassau County to Brooklyn, I think they came in much earlier.
And most importantly, their pricing is very moderate, I must mention that part, compare to the quality of their job, it is really moderate. Then their communication part was perfect, you are taken along through every step of the work process. What else?... I think the people are kind too, judging from the way the staff on the phone took time to respond to our enquiries.
Yes they nice over there. And I think I have to also add that they understand the word emergency. There job was pretty fast, and Waterline was back again. And to the management of Long Island Sewer and Water Main, I say... thank you.

Its been 3 weeks since the company handled my plumbing job, and Id thought it will be nice if I repay them with a 5 star review. Mine was actually a new building, just an another 3 bedroom apartment close to the neighbourhood. The house has been abandoned for years before it was put on sale, so the plumbing was pretty bad, as in, with all the rust and all.
Having known what it means to have a bad contractor do a job, cos Im into construction too, I knew needed a company with long history in the field. So I googled some couple of them, and Long Island Sewer and Water Main popped up. It wasnt really on top of the list, but the part that said they have a 40 years experience got my attention. That was my lead, so.... I made more finding about them and it happens that they have quite an impressive antecedents.
I made the call, and the rest they say is history. For the past one week that I watched them work, I must say I was really impressed. And the way they carry you along on each process is really impressive. And must commend the lady in the phone though, she was really professional throughout our conversation. Thank you.

This company really made my day, never knew the construction of cesspool has transformed, considering the technology I saw them put into the work. Although Im not much of an engineer, but I think I understand the basics, and I can boldly say that Long Island Sewer and Water Main deserves my 5 star.
At first, unlike the traditional method where the cesspools are sometimes connected into the sewer, a method I dont really fancy even as a layman in the field. But here, the company had to entirely replace them, and had to link a direct connection from the house to sewer. From the whole arrangement, I think they see the cesspool as a makeshift facility, which I still consider very reasonable.
And for their administrative section, I give it to them on that. This is my first time dealing with the company, and the attendant on phone was really helpful in explaining the process. All my questions were attended to, even the boring ones.
They also have a way of keeping you updated on the job development. I think I have to stop here, the review is already getting too long...Lol. But really, Long Island Sewer and Water Main deserves my five star, good job guys.
