The worst facility known to human kind from the administration to nursing assistant I will NEVER RECOMMEND. If unfortunately your love one ends up here please conduct random pop ups as my family members was left in their own defecate for 9+ hours because no one wanted to do their job and Jacky the DON okayed it and the staff member still works there upstairs to be more specific.

Be very wary if you are thinking of putting your loved one in this facility. If you buy anything of any value, do NOT leave it there, take it home and bring it with you every time you visit. Otherwise, the workers will steal it. Even though cash gifts are NOT allowed, the aides encourage gift cards. Felipe insisted we watch a 15-minute video of his surprise birthday party insinuating everyone who sees the video is compelled to give him a gift. What?! Felipe, is very good to the patient if you slip him a minimum of $50 as much as possible. Greedy and shady character. Now let's talk about the financial coordinator at Luxor Nursing. The facility makes it difficult for the POA to buy the resident things with their monthly allowance of $50. When you request a reimbursement, the financial coordinator gets mad. Why? I wasnt aware it was her money. I wasnt aware she is part owner of the facility either! Why are you bothered? What is the issue? If the designated person is the POA, then the patient appointed them because they trust them. We are talking about peanuts, these residents are not wealthy but on Medicaid so get a grip! The stimulus check by law is not for the nursing home, but they scooped that up too. The financial coordinator got angry when asked to please return the stimulus check to the patient. Instead, the nursing home has its own bank account where they keep the patient's money and the POA has to show the financial coordinator the receipt for refund approval when they buy something for the resident. Something is very wrong here. I do NOT want a lecture or a long drawn out process to buy stuff for my loved one. Luxor, wants to keep the patients money and they don't want the appointed family member using the funds ON THE PATIENT. Financial coordinator THE MONEY DOES NOT BELONG TO YOU so dont forget that!!!! Make sure you read the contract carefully and DONT SIGN or initial the arbitration forms. Google what are the cons when you take that route. Its not in your best interest. My recommendation is do not even consider Luxor Nursing Home. My option has not changed 2024. FYI, FAKE FIVE STAR REVIEWS!! READ ALL THE ONE STAR REVIEWS AT THE END, those are from real family members not from the staff.

The entry computer yields invaluable information for covid tracing and is a great control of traffic entering the facility..far better than paper forms and hand held temperature checks..takes some getting use to but it insures safety of residents staff and visitors which is parmont !
