I had Joe remove a fallen tree from my shed and fence. I called him on a Wednesday to come out and give me a quote for the work. He was here by Thursday afternoon to cut and remove everything. I had quoted other tree companies and Joe was the cheapest by at least $1000. He is quick, efficient, affordable and professional. I highly reccomend his business.

We initially ordered firewood from Joe Karolys. When he came to deliver our wood, he noticed that our septic system needed attention, you couldnt help but notice the odor! We have known the system was failing, and had been saving money to have it replaced. Joe gave us a reasonable estimate for the job and his team came back -on the scheduled day; they were on time, professional and got the job done. They left my yard looking better than before - and even spread grass seed. Thank you for taking such good care of our property and getting this dirty job done so quickly.

I had joe recover my driveway. The driveway is 170 feet long with a circle out front. The work was fast. They were able to bring in 5 loads of material and the equipment to finish the work in a day and a half. He suggested a material better than what I was asking for at a good price. They rolled it all and the finish is excellent.

We hired Joe to clear some dead Ash trees, he was professional and timely. We asked him to leave us the hardwood and he neatly stack this hugh pile for us and obtained the burn permits and burned the brush safetly. Then he dug out and rerouted my driveway, he filled it with shale and used my dirt to build me a beautiful berm, following the new curvy shape of the driveway. He used existing rocks found on our property to complete the end of our berm and define our new electric panel. Then we decided to have underground electric service. He bid the job very reasonable and dug the trenches and installed all underground conduit with electric, phone and cable wiring. He coordinated with all necessary inspectors and complied with all Town of Woodstock & Central Hudson demands. He installed the pad mounts and the meter boxes. He even saw that we had a generator on the side of our house for power outages and took it upon his natural instinct to dig a small trench to have the electric to that go underground and gave us an outlet. (this was not bid in the job, he just knew this was the right way to do the job.) He Had all of the wiring put into an existing basement window and then bricked this unneeded window in with foundation rocks to match out existing foundation. Central Hudson required 2 new telephone poles, he coordinated with Read Electric for this and even assisted them when they hit a large rock. Read wanted to hire another company to drill the rock out, to save me extra expenses' and time, joe and his crew dug the rock out and the pole was set the next day. Central Hudson required me to have 30' clearance of no trees or brush near these telephone poles and Joe and his crew cleared, Probably 100' mountainside as not to hold up the job. All obstacles were handled with professionalism and a get the job done attitude. We have much more work to be done and I will absolutely be having him do the work. We just met in the fall 2019 and he and his crew have proven to be without a doubt genuine, hard working and honest. These traits are not easy to find these days. Because he has been here practically everyday for the last 5 months I have had the pleasure to have met his wife and children and he is a genuine family man and we understand why he works so hard. I highly recommend Joe and his crew this man goes above and beyond to get the job done right. It has been my pleasure to have met you all and keep up the professional work.
