My tax prep agent, Kavril Byrd, was great! She took the time and frustration it normally takes me off my hands, and found credits for me I wouldn't have otherwise.

So our terrible experience started for a personal / small business tax prep for tax year 2019. We went to the office in Wilton NY and were directed to use a tax professional I will use her initials C.R. Senior tax analyst . We met with her prior to the pandemic with ALL our documents in order as well as the past years tax prep from our prior accountants. She explained she was qualified to proceed with our filing. I gave her ALL documents late Jan so she had plenty of time to finish before out 3/15 filing date. At the end of February we still had NO. Communication from CR and NO return calls!!!!!! As time went I reached out to management and still nothing! Finally a manager from another location called to explain how managers just up and left that location and they had no idea what was going on????? This manager with the initials AE stepped in and took over our tax prep as now our taxes were due within DAYS! She kept apologizing for the lack of professionalism and tried to reassure us everything would be done accurately and on time. She gave me her personal cell number and also stated if we would consider using H&R again she would personally do our returns as AE herself was a senior tax analyst and was also small business certified. Fast forward to 2021...... I called her personal number so we could touch base. Surprise surprise NO return call after 3 days. I was able to track her down to her Clifton Park office as well as Ballston Spa. I called and the person answering said yes she was in the office asked who was calling. I explained ALL the details she put me on hold and came back stating AE was on a conference call and would call me back as soon as she was finished. Well that NEVER happened!!!!! We now have a new professional CPA and will NEVER recommend or trust these unprofessional individuals again. How do you allow people to represent your business H & R?????? Tax prep is a very important service with severe ramifications if not done properly. My best advice to all is stay FAR AWAY FROM H & R BLOCK IF YOU WANT PROFESSIONAL SERVICES!!!!! I gave them the benefit of a second chance only to be burnt again. As a small business owner you ALl need to learn how to service clients. If you are NOT capable of providing services just let the client know they need to go else where ...... its as simple and professional as that!!!!! Thanks ACCORDING
