John Morrissey prizefighter, gangster, entrepreneur and congressman is credited for bringing racing to Saratoga, personally organizing and financing the town's first thoroughbred contest in 1863. A bare-knuckle boxer known for his toughness, he once pulled off 37 rounds of fisticuffs, but he also had the charm and polish to sit down for drinks with the likes of William Travers, John D. Rockefeller, and Mark Twain.

The sushi was a bit bland and I'm a little salty that the "crab" was the fake crab (made with fish).
The chicken club was also good but didn't stand out even though they had their "famous" thick cut bacon.
The lobster dumplings were very good and while a little pricey, it was worth it, especially with the spicy sauce spread on it.
One nice thing Morrissey's will do is split a sandwich and on both plates give you a full serving of fries.
