It's my third time at the Adelphi Hotel. I was attending a ladie's luncheon. This time, the event was held at Salt and Char. We were served a lunch of Chicken Florentine and a salad. It was delicious, and the service was amazing. If you're hosting a small event, I'd recommend The Adelphi Hotel.

We stayed at this hotel when we came for Chowderfest, and we loved every part of our stay. The hotel exudes historic character and charm but is renovated and pristine. The staff are friendly and welcoming, the food at both restaurants delicious, and the rooms are huge and well appointed. They included so many little touches like complimentary drinks upon arrival, complimentary snacks and beverages in the room, and a mid-stay delivery of free chocolates. The location could not be beat as it is right in the center of town, and its easy to see how this hotel is considered a local icon. The place feels like a nod to a bygone era of hospitality and class, with a central staircase and period furnishings making you feel comfortable and at home. We cannot wait to return!
Rooms: Large, well appointed with modern amenities. Bathroom was gorgeous and it was great to have a refrigerator and couch.
