Bed & Breakfast - Au Bord du Lac - By the Lake - Rouses Point

If I could give this B&B more than 5 stars, I would. Bill and Anne were incredibly accommodating and inviting. We stayed for a night en route to Montreal. Never stayed at this B&B before but will in the future. Rooms were clean and felt like home. Breakfast was fantastic and we were on our way by 10:00am. If you are looking for a great B&B, stay at this place and you'll be very happy.

After bike riding 54 miles we entered Rouses Point in the dark. We were welcomed with glowing lights illuminating our BNB. The hosts immediately asked to help bring our bikes into the warmth of the BNB. This was great knowing our bikes would be safe through the night. We were shown an area to self-serve hot coffee, tea and hot chocolate. Also there was a refrigerator stocked with water and various other beverages and yogurts. Our room was neat and clean. And the hot bath did wonders to sooth sore muscles. Breakfast at 8:30am was a welcome treat with quiche, croissants, fresh fruit and coffee.

This place is adorable! I loved everything about it. We stayed one night in the voyager room with the detached private bath. The house is beautiful and was even decorated for fall. Bill and Ann are so kind and welcoming. They gave us a tour of the place, a bit of history and welcomed us like family for our one night stay. Breakfast was delicious - apple cider, spinach and broccoli quiche with fresh fruit and croissant with fresh apple jam. wifi is a little spotty on the front porch as we both tried to work remotely. I would highly recommend staying here. The sunrise over the lake across the street is a MUST!

Great place to stay overlooking Lake Champlain. Very nice owners who take good care of you. Wonderful breakfast with variety. We hope to go back.
