Jacalyn Meyvis Photography

I found Jacalyn through social media and was immediately drawn to all her photos. She is extremely talented, patient and thoughtful. She was very thorough and met all of our expectations and more out of our engagement session and our wedding day. She was a tremendous help in creating a timeline for the day and was super flexible with me as I wanted as many photos done prior to the ceremony without doing a first look. Her timeless and classic photos are something I will cherish forever. I cannot recommend Jacalyn enough!!

Jacalyn exceeded every expectation we thought we had! She was so efficient and knew exactly what to do and how to do it, I had complete trust in her! And having complete trust in your photographer makes all the difference. I knew the pictures would be wonderful as Im familiar with her work from previous weddings Ive been to, but our pictures were even better than I anticipated. Everything I wouldve wanted to get pictures of, she did and then some. She is so efficient in her work and can tell she loves what she does. Family and friends said theyre the best wedding pictures theyve seen. I am so thankful to her to have these amazing pictures to look back on for years to come.

Jacalyn is such an amazing photographer! We highly recommend her services. From our initial consult to the day of the wedding she was so responsive, sweet, and just *got it* as far as what vision we had for our day. We had our wedding done in both digital and film, shot on portra. The film photos are absolute *chefs kiss* perfection. It was so easy taking pictures with her, nothing felt forced or crazily posed everything was so fluid and natural. She even managed to get so many pictures of our 2 year old son, who is very hard to photograph. Our gallery is something of dreams, we have so many beautiful photos of all of our family and friends to share for years to come. Seriously, it was a dream come true working with Jacalyn and we plan on working with her if we ever need photos taken again. 5+ stars

Jacalyn was wonderful to work with. We started with an intro call and during that call she walked us through her process and asked us about what our preferences were. She really cared about what we wanted to experience on our day of the wedding and what we wanted to see in the photos. During the wedding, Jacalyn was very professional and friendly - she quickly reminded us of items we said were important - during the day of your wedding you have 100 different things going on so this was vital. When we were posing for photos, we shared things we liked/didn't like and she was super responsive. Throughout the night, Jacalyn also made sure we got all of the shots we cared about. The photos came back really quickly and are absolutely stunning. Thank you, Jacalyn!

From our initial interview with Jacalyn to the final presentation of our wedding album, she was a dream to work with in every regard. She is the perfect balance of a professional and a friend that kept us at ease every step of the way. Her natural style and ability to capture any moment beautifully allowed us to be totally present on our wedding day we did not miss a beat and we ended up with every photo that we had imagined, plus many more. We started out planning with Jacalyns Collection 2 package. However, following our engagement shoot we just could not get enough, so we added on film photos as well as the Super 8 video and it was worth every single penny. Timeless isnt enough to describe what she and her team created for us. They captured our day better than we saw it ourselves and preserved such rare and special moments. We miss our wedding day all of the time, but thanks to Jacalyn and her teams work it never feels too far. We are already looking forward to our next shoot with her.
