Long Construction has gone above and beyond for me. Between Becky in the office and Bob with me throughout my entire project and all the people inbetween, I have nothing but great things to say. They do quality work, clean up well and are very polite. I had a few obstacles with the many things I had done and I never worried for a minute that they had it under control. I HIGHLY recommend Long Construction.

Whether your project is large or small Long Construction is the best choice in Rochester. Their entire team from project managers to tear off crews to siding team was professional and very responsive to our needs. You cant go wrong with Long.

Excellent communication from start to finish! I didnt feel like I was having games played with me with the pricing like other roofing companies where they would start with a very high price then supposedly give you all these discounts just to get you down to a still higher price than many other companies. Long Construction came in and gave me reasonable pricing right up front without all the gimmicks. The crew and project manager were all professional and nice. My roof was replaced in literally some hours. The crew came right in and knocked it out. Constantly working to get the job done. It was a messy project but I was most impressed by the thoroughness of the clean up. Not one nail or shingle has been found. Glad I chose Long Construction over the other companies I got quotes from.

I had a great experience with Long Construction on the roof replacement of my home. They supported me throughout the process, including advocating with my insurance company. I especially appreciated David Chontosh who was always available to answer my questions in a friendly and professional manner. The contract and the explanation of work to be done was clear and explicit; including the warranty options. Their price was fair and competitive with other estimates I obtained. The roof replacement was a complete tear off (including the cedar decking that needed to be replaced per code). The crew did a great job working steadily - particularly during one very hot and humid day. The work was completed swiftly; clean up was thorough; and the roof looks great. There were no unpleasant surprises! Throughout the process, everyone was polite, personable, and professional. I could not be more pleased with this experience. I would surely recommend Long Construction to friends and family. Update April 2024: This is my second experience of working with Long Construction. In 2022, I had a roof replacement on my home that was done by Long Construction. As I commented on my previous review, I could not have been more satisfied with the professionalism and the service of all involved. I could not have been more pleased with the work done So this year, when my parents home developed a significant leak and roof damage after a particularly ferocious winter wind storm, I called Long Construction. They responded promptly. As before, I felt supported throughout the process; particularly by David Chontosh who was available at every step. Mr Chontosh took an extraordinary amount of time to explain the scope of the project, the roofing products available, and the warranties offered. In addition and beyond my expectations, Mr Chontosh fiercely advocated for me with the insurance company. I could not be more grateful for his time and effort. Upon tear off of the old roof, previously unseen roof damage (significant rot) was discovered in a larger area surrounding the fireplace chimney. At the direction of Steve Bock, the Project Manager, extra care was put into preventing a recurrence of the problem with the construction of a cricket behind the chimney. As my parents home is located on Lake Ontario shoreline where the winds can be brutal, I am very grateful for the extra attention Mr Bock paid to this problem area, Ultimately, the crew did a great job; the roof was completed as scheduled, and clean up was thorough. The office staff (Becky, Felicia and Amanda) were personable and very helpful; giving prompt attention at every contact. Without hesitation, I will continue to recommend Long Construction to friends and family. Service: Roof installation
