The two bedroom suites are one of the best Ive ever stayed at but the hotel/inn is not without a significant flawyou hear EVERYTHING going on in rooms to the sides and above you. This place has to be the least soundproof hotel Ive ever stayed in. It was hard us to fall asleep as we heard loud talking, stomping, banging, even occasional shouting, well into the night. My daughter had anxiety over it. At one point, post-midnight, I was in the bathroom and heard loud talking, seemingly emanating through the the plumbing/drains. I raised my voice a little saying shut up! and luckily it stopped. Who wants to have to do that, though?! Secondly, and this is really gross (and a health concern); several people were in the hot tub and the water did not look clear. Turns out the filtration had broke on it. Several of my friends and family used it, with other patrons before everyone realized something was wrong. Having said that, the suites themselves have great layouts. The breakfast and eating area was pretty good. There are plenty of restaurants around as well. About a 15 min drive to get to downtown Rochester. Not sure if wed go back, the hot tub thing was a big issue and there was no compensation offer from staff, but again, excellent rooms. Rooms: Very nice rooms, not enough sound proofing & very thin walls.
