ER Doctor had to take pictures of my husband's foot and look up on Google what was wrong and sent the prescriptions to the wrong pharmacy despite telling them several times the correct one. The doctor told him to get a medicine in addition that they thought was over the counter that needs a prescription so he couldn't even get it! Just ridiculously incompetent.

The staff and drs at RGH are amazing! Throughout my entire stay very close attention has been taken to my needs ever since my arrival from a different hospital I have to commend the staff at this hospital for doing an excellent job. The nickname for this hospital shall be Hotel General for the hospitality and caring staff and their attention to detail and professional care for their patients.

One of the worst hospitals I have ever been in. My dad was transferred and in the MICU because he was on a ventilator. The day the removed it they gave him laxatives, one time he asked for a bed pan (which he did several times that day of course) a tech said he could just go in the bed and they would clean him up later, like he was a dog. He has been in RGH almost a week we have seen a doctor 2 maybe 3 times because they do rounds before visiting hours and it is impossible to get them to talk to you or call you for updates. The only time we got a phone call is when I asked to have him transferred to another hospital and they told me they could only do that if he signed out against medical advice and I took him to a different emergency room. I have called patient relations 4 times in the past 5 days, no one has returned my call. I asked to see a hospital administrator three time yesterday and nothing, just the floor supervisor. Many of the nurses and staff are rude. If you know how to get a hold of an actual hospital admin, please let me know because you cant find numbers or emails on the website. The Committed to Excellence must mean in decorating because it certainly is not patient care.
