Dr. Abby Petkov - Myoho Chiropractic

I had never visited a chiropractor before stepping into Dr. Abbys warm, art-filled office. I honestly had no idea what to expect, but I was experiencing daily pain in my low-back and neck from falling down the stairs. From day one, Dr. Abbys approach has been thoughtful and transparent, guiding me through some pretty complicated body mechanics, while also teaching me how to live more fully in my body. While I initially sought her help for immediate relief, I slowly realized that her care provided a deeper sense of healing - reconnecting me with my body and lowering my bodys defenses that have kept me safe through trauma. Dr. Petkov is such a compassionate healer. Every time I see her I leave feeling restored, encouraged, and BETTER than when I arrived. She listens to both my words and the messages my body sends to her, and she responds with care and decisive action. I have been able to heal so much faster because my body feels safe with Dr. Petkov. Not only have I reversed my plantar fasciitis in my feet, but I also have so much more access to deep, healing breath. Dr. Petkov empowered me to prioritize breath and gentle, loving movement between our adjustments, and I've honestly never felt more connected to my body. Her vast knowledge of muscular systems, chakras, and guided visualizations all harmonize toward my most vibrant life! I am SO grateful for Myoho Chiropractic.

I have historically been apprehensive about chiropractic treatment, but working with Abby has completely changed that view. She is thoughtful, thorough, intuitive, extremely kind and wise, using a holistic approach that really addresses the root causes of ailments. I came to Dr. Abby for help with pain from spinal stenosis. Her gentle, supportive approach using tonal chiropractic techniques has been a welcome change from the more common spinal adjustment chiropractic work I have experienced. My work with her helped me to honor how my body is an integrated system. Despite our best efforts, I eventually decided to have back surgery to address my pain. Dr. Abby supported my decision and helped me to strengthen my core with new exercises that helped to speed up my recovery post-surgery. We continued to work together post-surgery because I was then able to address other issues. Dr. Abby honored my body and my journey to a healthier whole!
